999
Call 999 immediately if
- Baby is not breathing, or breathing has stopped
- Blue, grey or very pale skin or lips
- Unresponsive, floppy, or very hard to wake
- A fit (seizure) for the first time
- A rash that does not fade when pressed under a glass
- Choking they can't clear
NHS 111
Call 111 (any time) if
- You're not sure how urgent the problem is
- Baby under 3 months has a fever of 38°C or higher
- Repeated vomiting, or refusing feeds for 12+ hours
- Symptoms getting worse rather than better
GP
Book a GP appointment for
- Symptoms lasting more than a few days without improving
- Persistent rashes, eczema or feeding issues
- Anything that worries you but isn't urgent
