Meet Dr Eniola Hassan
GP Specialty Trainee, mum and founder of LittleNest Family.
My story
I trained as a doctor and became a GP Specialty Trainee because I love the part of medicine that happens in ordinary rooms, with ordinary families, on ordinary days. In clinic I met the same moment again and again: a parent holding a hot, unsettled child, apologising for coming in, unsure whether they had waited too long or come too soon.
Then I became a mum. And even with the training, even knowing the guidance, I found myself at 2am doing exactly what everyone else does — scrolling my phone in the dark, reading ten different answers, none of them written for the child in front of me.
That gap is what LittleNest exists to close. Between typing a symptom into a search bar and speaking to a healthcare professional, there is a long, frightening stretch where parents are left alone with conflicting advice. LittleNest is meant to sit in that gap: calm, evidence-based guidance that helps you recognise what's usually fine, what's worth watching, and what needs to be seen today.
It will never replace your GP, your health visitor or 999. It's here so that when you do reach out, you feel confident about why.

When I'm not working
Most of my time outside clinic is spent with my family, enjoying life with a young child — the slow mornings, the messy meals, the very small victories.
The rest of it goes into building LittleNest, usually once the house is quiet. It's grown out of the same place everything else has: wanting parents to feel a little less alone when their child is unwell.

Let's connect
